Superstitions
Intangible Symboleopyw
Philosophical symbol
In Chinese philosophy, the concept of yin yang is used to describe how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn. The outer circle represents "everything", while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white.
Revolutionary symbol
the black power fist is an example of a symbol who's use is for revolutionary purposes. The symbol uses a raised fist which represents regarded as an expression of solidarity, strength or defiance. It is used in the movement among people of Black African descent throughout the world, though primarily by African Americans in the United States. Most prominent in the late 1960s and early 1970s, the movement emphasised racial pride and the creation of black political and cultural institutions to nurture and promote black collective interests and advance black values.
This is a symbol that I have created to represent sound. It has been created by combining already existing symbols (such as the arrows and the ear) in order to create a new one. I think that this would be successful in being a symbol because it is simple and may be read very fast, although it does rely a little bit on the user having to already know what the symbols that are being used are.
